Starting an online personal brand business can be a bit too simple. I’ve seen this too many times before. Create a website with your name, and…voila!  You now have a ‘Personal Brand Business.’

But just because you now have a website with your name on it, doesn’t really mean that you’re positioned for success. Now, I’m not a fan of taking too long with the process, but I’m also not a fan of rushing into things as well.

So I’ve come up with my ‘7 Steps’ framework that I believe will give you that solid foundation to your new business so that you can be better positioned for success.

Here are the 7 Steps:

1. Your Vision-Where you want to go and how you’ll get there
2. Your Copy or Copywriting-the words you use to sell stuff
3. Products/Services-how you can help people solve their problem
4. Your Website-open for business-who you are and what you offer
5. Your Branding- The 3 V’s- the Verbal, Visual and Values identity that you have
6. Your Marketing-opening the relationship with the target audience
7. Your Email list-building the relationship further

Let’s get right into the task of turning your dream into a reality by diving into a strategy that’s specific to your plan for your personal brand business. These are what I consider to be the most valuable elements of an online, personal brand business. I like to call them ‘Building Blocks’ to the foundation of the business.

This checklist for all seven building blocks will help you to get your thoughts and plans organized and jump-start your online personal brand launch with a more solid foundation to the business.

Why should you work through these details for your business? It’ll help you to avoid that ‘reverse launch’ as I’ve seen so many people go through.

What’s a ‘reverse launch’?

It’s when you launch your online business but have to stop what you’re doing, lose your momentum and fix issues that should have been in resolved BEFORE the launch. Trust me, that stinks!

A. No. Although I recommend following the order I have in the e-Book so that you follow a certain progression, it's not mandatory. You can do these steps in the order that best fits your individual situation.

Q. Do you cover the topic of having an online shopping cart?

A. No. This course does not cover shopping carts or drop shipping topics.

Q. Why don’t you cover the legal and financial aspects of the online business launch?

A. I like to leave the legal and financial parts of the business to the legal and financial experts. This e-Book does not cover ‘everything you need to know about having an online business.’
